Common questions
Why is my speed lower than on other typing tests?
Type counts net keystrokes: the correct characters that remain in the text, per minute of active typing. Many tests count raw keystrokes or forgive uncorrected mistakes. Here a skipped letter makes every following character wrong until you go back and fix it, which is exactly how strict speed exams mark. The raw figure is shown underneath for comparison.
The text has accents I cannot type on my keyboard
Turn on “Sin tildes” (no accents) above the test, or open the dedicated no-accents test. Accents and diaeresis are removed from the text; the ñ stays because it is a letter of its own. In the onboarding you can also tell the trainer which physical keyboard you use (Spanish, Latin American, US or UK), which changes the finger guide.
My result says “no verificado” (unverified)
The trainer detected pasted or bulk-inserted text, or a very short run. Unverified results are kept in your history but do not count towards trends or assessments. Type the text key by key and try again.
I bought the programme but it is locked
Purchases are tied to the account you were signed in with when you paid. Sign in with the same Google account or email on the account page and press “Comprobar mi compra”. The unlock arrives a few seconds after Dodo confirms the payment; if it still shows locked after a minute, write to us with the email you used at checkout.
Can I use it on two computers?
Yes. Create an account and your results, programme progress and purchase sync across devices. Without an account everything lives in one browser; you can still move it by exporting a JSON file from the progress page and importing it elsewhere.
Does it work on a phone or tablet?
You can read your progress and browse the library, but training needs a physical keyboard. Typing speed on a touch screen is not comparable with keyboard speed and is not counted as such. Connect an external keyboard or use a computer.
Is the result sheet a certificate?
No. It is a dated self-assessment you can print or save as PDF for your own records. It is not issued or recognised by any official body.
How do refunds work?
Write to riekapps@gmail.com within 14 days of your purchase from the email you used at checkout. We refund in full through Dodo Payments to the original payment method; access to the programme is revoked and your progress stays in your account.
How do I delete my data?
Without an account: “Borrar todo” on the progress page clears this browser. With an account: “Borrar mi cuenta y mis datos” on the account page removes your login, synced results, progress and order records from our servers. You can also email us.
