Vibrator – Privacy Policy

1. Everything Runs On Your Device

Vibrator is a vibration massage app: it plays hand-tuned vibration patterns through your phone’s own vibration motor, optionally alongside calming ambient sounds. All of that happens on the device. The vibration waveforms are part of the app, the soundscapes are audio files bundled inside the app, and the session timer is an ordinary timer running on your phone.

There is no Vibrator server and no account. The app does not ask who you are, does not connect to any RiekApps system, and works fully offline. The single exception — the purchase, handled by Google Play — is described in section 4.

2. What Is Never Collected

The app contains no analytics, crash reporting, advertising or tracking code of any kind. In particular:

• No record of when, how often or how long you use the app.
• No record of which patterns, speeds, sounds or timers you choose — those choices stay on your phone (section 3).
• No name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, location or account information.
• No device identifiers gathered by us — the app has no analytics SDK to gather them.
• No advertising SDKs, ad networks or third-party trackers.

3. What Is Stored On Your Device

The app remembers a small number of settings in its private storage, which other apps cannot read:

• Your chosen vibration pattern, speed, soundscape, volume and session timer.
• Whether the one-time Full Access purchase has been unlocked on this device.
• Whether the welcome screens have been shown.

That is the complete list. Uninstalling the app removes all of it.

4. Purchases

Full Access is a single one-time purchase, billed by Google Play. Google handles the payment and RiekApps never sees your card, billing address or Google account details. The app asks Google Play whether this device owns the purchase and stores only the answer, locally. Restoring purchases asks Google Play the same question again. There is no subscription and no third-party billing service involved. Google’s handling of payments is described in Google’s Privacy Policy.

5. Android Backup

Android’s own backup may copy the app’s settings to your Google account and restore them to a new phone. This is a Google feature operating on your own account, not a RiekApps service, and RiekApps has no access to those backups. You can turn it off in Android Settings under Google → Backup.

6. Permissions

• Vibration — the app’s entire purpose: playing massage patterns through your phone’s vibration motor.
• Internet — used only by Google Play billing for the one-time purchase and for restoring it. Every massage feature works with the network off.

The app requests no access to your camera, microphone, location, contacts, photos or files.

7. Your Choices And Rights

Because the app collects nothing, there is no profile of you to access, correct, export or delete — the data simply does not exist on our side. The settings held on your phone are under your control: clearing the app’s data or uninstalling it removes them completely. If you have a question or a request under a privacy law that applies to you — for example the GDPR or the Indian Digital Personal Data Protection Act — write to riekapps@gmail.com and we will answer it.

8. Children

The app is intended for adults and is not directed at children. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, of any age.

9. Changes

If this policy changes, the revised version is published on this page with a new effective date. A change that broadens what the app collects will be announced in the app before it takes effect, not applied quietly.
