Quicksign – Privacy Policy

1. On-Device Processing

Quicksign opens your PDF or photograph, places your signature on it and writes the signed file, all on your phone. There is no Quicksign server, and no stage of that work involves uploading the document. A contract you sign in Quicksign is seen by your device and by whoever you choose to send it to — by nobody in between.

2. What We Collect

RiekApps collects nothing from Quicksign. Specifically, there is:

• No account, sign-in, email address or profile.
• No product analytics, event tracking or session recording.
• No advertising, ad identifiers or third-party advertising SDKs.
• No crash-reporting service. Quicksign notes locally that a crash happened, so it knows not to ask you for a review straight afterwards; that note is a timestamp on your device and is not transmitted.
• No copy of your documents, filenames, page contents or signatures.

3. What Is Stored On Your Device

Everything Quicksign remembers lives in the app's private storage, which other apps cannot read:

• A working copy of each document you open, so your original file is never modified.
• The signatures and initials you have saved, as images.
• Where you placed each mark, so a document can be reopened exactly as you left it.
• Signed files you have exported.
• Small preferences: your theme, your date format, how many exports you have used this month, and whether the first-run tour has been seen.

Deleting a document in Quicksign deletes its working copy. Settings has a control that clears every document and every saved signature at once, and uninstalling the app removes all of it.

4. Passwords On Protected PDFs

If a PDF is password-protected, Quicksign asks you for the password so it can open it. The password is held in memory only for as long as it takes to unlock Quicksign's own working copy of the file, and is then discarded. It is never written to storage, never included in a support email, and never transmitted. Your original file keeps its password; Quicksign does not write to it.

5. Android Backup

Quicksign takes part in Android's standard app backup. This is a feature of Android, not of Quicksign, and it is stated here plainly because it is the one way data from the app leaves your phone:

• Android may copy Quicksign's private storage — your documents, working copies, exported files and saved signatures — to your own Google account, so that a new phone or a reinstall can restore them.
• That transfer and that storage are handled by Google under Google's Privacy Policy. It goes to your account, not to RiekApps. RiekApps has no access to it.
• The app's small preferences file is deliberately excluded from that backup.

If you would rather nothing left the device at all, turn off backup for Quicksign in Android Settings under Google → Backup, or turn off backup entirely. Quicksign works exactly the same either way.

6. Purchases

Quicksign Pro is a single purchase, made through Google Play. Payment is handled entirely by Google under Google's Privacy Policy; no payment detail is ever seen by Quicksign or by RiekApps. To know whether Pro is unlocked, the app asks Google Play whether this Google account owns the Pro product. That exchange is between your device and Google, and it is the only reason Quicksign uses the network at all. No third-party billing or analytics service is involved, and RiekApps receives no purchase record, no name and no email address.

7. Permissions

Quicksign requests two permissions: internet access and network state, both used solely for the purchase check described above. It does not request storage access — you choose a file through Android's own picker, which grants access to that one file — and it does not request camera access; photographing a page or a signature hands off to whichever camera app you already have.

8. Support Email

If you write to support from inside the app, Quicksign prepares an email that includes technical details about the build and the device: app version, Android version, device model, screen size, language, free storage, whether you are on Free or Pro, how many documents and signatures you have, and whether the app has recently failed to export or crashed. It contains no document names, no file contents and nothing that identifies you. The whole message is visible in your email app before you send it, and you can edit or delete any part of it. Nothing is sent unless you press send.

9. Children

Quicksign is a general-audience document utility and is not directed to children.

10. Changes

If Quicksign ever adds accounts, cloud storage, analytics, crash reporting or advertising, this policy and the Google Play data-safety declaration will be updated before that version is released.
