Bloom – Terms of Use

1. This Agreement

These terms are between you and RiekApps and cover the Bloom apps for Android and iOS. They’re short because the app is simple. By using Bloom you agree to them; if you don’t, please uninstall the app. Downloading Bloom from Google Play or the App Store is additionally governed by that store’s own terms.

2. What Bloom Is (And Isn’t)

Bloom is a habit and self-care challenge app. It is not medical, mental-health, nutrition or fitness advice. Your AI partner is a motivational companion, not a therapist, doctor or dietitian — she’ll tell you the same if you ask. For anything health-related, talk to a professional, and check with one before starting a challenge that changes how you eat, exercise or sleep. If you’re struggling, please reach out to someone you trust or a local helpline.

3. Your Account

You need to be at least 13 to use Bloom. You’re responsible for what happens on your account. An anonymous account lives on the phone you started on; sign in with Google or Apple if you want your progress to survive a lost or new phone. You can delete your account whenever you like from Profile → Delete my account — see the Privacy Policy for what that erases.

4. Free Days, The Challenge Pass And Bloom+

After onboarding you can choose a purchase or start a limited number of free days with the real app. When the free days end, continuing your challenge needs one of:

• Challenge Pass — a one-time purchase that unlocks your current challenge journey.
• Bloom+ — a subscription that unlocks all challenges and unlimited messages with your AI partner. When the store offers a free trial, it converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel before then.

Prices are shown in the app in your store’s currency before you buy. Billing runs through your app store: a subscription renews automatically until you cancel it in Google Play or the App Store (deleting the app or your Bloom account does not cancel it), and refunds follow the store’s rules. Promo codes, where offered, are single-use, may expire and can’t be exchanged for cash. Use “Restore purchase” in the app to bring a purchase back on a new phone.

5. Your AI Partner

Your partner’s replies and the AI challenge builder’s suggestions are generated by an AI model. They can be wrong, generic or occasionally off, and you shouldn’t rely on them for anything important. Free days include a small number of partner messages each day; Bloom+ makes them unlimited. If a message seems off, long-press it and report it — that helps us make her better.

6. Bestie Pairing

Invite codes are for people you actually know. Once linked, your bestie sees your name, day, daily completion and streak — by design — and gets a notification when you finish a day or hit a milestone. Be kind; don’t use Bloom to harass anyone. Either of you can drop the pair at any time.

7. Fair Use

Don’t try to break, reverse-engineer, overload or abuse the app or its AI features, and don’t use the AI chat to generate content that’s illegal or harmful. We may rate-limit or suspend accounts that do.

8. Our Content, Your Content

The app, its characters, its challenges and its design are ours, and RiekApps grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to use Bloom on devices you own or control. Your progress, photos and words are yours — we claim no ownership, and your photos never even leave your phone.

9. Availability

We work hard to keep Bloom running and your streak safe, but the app is provided “as is” — we can’t guarantee it will always be available or error-free. Features, challenges and the AI partner may be added, changed or removed in later versions, and the AI partner, sync and bestie features need an internet connection.

10. Limitation Of Liability

To the extent the law allows, RiekApps is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of Bloom, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and if you have consumer rights in your country, these terms do not take them away.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute arising from them is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of India, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection you enjoy where you live.

12. Changes

If these terms change meaningfully, we’ll tell you in the app before the change applies, and the revised version will be published on this page with a new effective date. Continuing to use Bloom means you accept the update.
