Common questions
Restore a purchase
On the paywall, tap “Restore purchase”. Bloom asks the store which purchases belong to you, so make sure the phone is signed in to the same Google Play or Apple account you bought with. If you signed in to Bloom with Google or Apple before, sign in with the same one again so your progress comes back with it. Still missing? Email riekapps@gmail.com with the order number from your store receipt.
Cancel Bloom+
Subscriptions are managed by the store, not inside Bloom. On Android: Play Store → your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Bloom → Cancel. On iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Bloom → Cancel Subscription. Cancel at least a day before the renewal date; you keep Bloom+ until the end of the period you paid for. Deleting the app or your Bloom account does not cancel it, and refunds follow Google’s or Apple’s rules.
Moving to a new phone
Bloom starts you on an anonymous account tied to the phone you started on. To take your challenge, streak, chat and bestie link to a new phone, sign in with Google or Apple on the old phone first, then sign in with the same account on the new one. Your diary photos live only on the phone they were taken on, so they do not move with your account.
Delete your account
Profile → scroll to the bottom → Delete my account → confirm. It erases your account, synced progress, chat history and bestie link from our servers and wipes the app’s data on your phone, immediately. Can’t open the app? Email riekapps@gmail.com from the address you signed in with, subject “Delete my Bloom account”, and we’ll do it within 7 days. Details: bloom.riekapps.com/delete-account.
Change the language
Bloom speaks English, Deutsch and Français. Go to Profile → Language and pick one; the whole app switches, and your reminders are rewritten in the new language. Bestie notifications follow your choice too.
Reminders are not arriving
Check that notifications are allowed for Bloom in your phone’s settings, and that reminders are on in Profile → Reminders. On Android, battery-saver or “restricted” battery settings can delay scheduled notifications; set Bloom to unrestricted if reminders come late.
Pairing with a bestie
One of you taps Challenge your bestie → Create an invite and shares the six-letter code; the other taps “I have a code” and enters it. A pair is two people. Your bestie sees only your name, day, today’s progress and streak — never your photos or chats. Either of you can drop the pair at any time.
Something your AI partner said was off
Long-press the message and tap “Report this message”. It is sent to us so we can make her better, and it stays in your chat. Your partner is a motivational companion, not a therapist, doctor or dietitian — for anything health-related, please talk to a professional.
Report a problem
Write to riekapps@gmail.com, or use Profile → Help & feedback in the app. Mention your phone model, OS version and what you were doing when it went wrong. A real person reads every message.
