- BG Remover is free. There is no sign-up, no watermark, no ads, no purchase and no subscription, and nothing is locked.

1. This Agreement
These terms are between you and RiekApps, and they cover the BG Remover website at bgremover.riekapps.com and the BG Remover apps for Android and iOS. Using the website or installing or using an app means you accept them. If you do not, stop using the website or uninstall the app. Downloading an app from Google Play or the App Store is additionally governed by that store’s own terms.
2. Licence To Use The Service
RiekApps grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the website and the app on devices you own or control, for your own purposes, including commercial work on your own images. You may not copy, sell, rent, sub-licence, decompile or reverse engineer the app, or strip out its notices. The app, the website, their design, their artwork and their code remain the property of RiekApps. The segmentation models are provided by Apple, Google or their respective authors under their own licences.
3. A Free Tool
BG Remover is free, in full. There is no account to create, no watermark on the result, no advertising, no in-app purchase, no subscription and no locked feature. There is no premium version; what you see is the whole product. RiekApps may in future release a different or paid product, but nothing you can do in BG Remover today will be taken away from an installed version to make you pay for it.
4. Your Photos And Your Results
The photos you bring to BG Remover, and the cutouts and composed images you make from them, belong to you. RiekApps claims no ownership of them, no licence over them and never receives a copy, because the work is done on your device (see the Privacy Policy). You may use the results however you wish.
The other side of that: you are responsible for the photos you use. Only edit and share images you own or have the right to edit, and respect the rights and the privacy of any person who appears in them. RiekApps does not see your images and cannot police how they are used; that responsibility is yours.
5. Cutout Quality
The subject is found automatically by a machine-learning model, and no model is perfect. Fine hair, fur, glass, transparent or reflective objects, thin straps, subjects that blend into the background and busy backgrounds can all produce rough or missing edges, and occasionally the wrong subject or none at all. The soft-edge control helps in many cases but does not fix everything. RiekApps makes no promise that any particular cutout will be accurate or fit for a particular purpose. Look at the result at full size before you print it, publish it or build on it, and keep the original photo.
6. Acceptable Use
Do not use BG Remover to break the law, to infringe anyone’s copyright, trademark or privacy, to produce images intended to deceive — for example placing a person somewhere they were not, presented as genuine — or to harass or defame anyone. Do not interfere with the website, the stats server or the app’s functioning, or use automated means to load the service beyond ordinary personal use.
7. Your Data Stays With You
Your recent cutouts are stored on your phone and nowhere else; we neither hold a copy nor can we recover them. If you delete them in the app, clear the app’s data, uninstall it, lose the phone or reset it without a device backup, they are gone. The website keeps nothing of yours beyond the model cached by your browser. Full detail is in the Privacy Policy.
8. Availability And Changes
The website and the app are provided as they are. Features may be added, changed or removed in later versions. The Android model download depends on Google Play services, the iOS cutout depends on Apple’s Vision framework, and the website depends on your browser and your connection, none of which we control. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we may suspend or discontinue the website or an app at any time. An app already installed on your phone will keep working for as long as the operating system it relies on supports it.
9. Limitation Of Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, RiekApps is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of BG Remover — including a cutout that was not good enough, an image you published, a print that came out wrong, or data lost from your device. Because the service is free, our total liability to you is limited to zero, or to the smallest amount the applicable law permits. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and if you have consumer rights in your country, these terms do not take them away.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute arising from them is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of India, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection you enjoy where you live.
