Closerly – Terms of Service

Welcome to Closerly. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Closerly mobile application (“App”) provided by Riek Apps (“we”, “our”, “us”). By downloading or using Closerly, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
For iOS Users: You acknowledge that this agreement is between you and Riek Apps only, and not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. However, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement and have the right to enforce it. By using this App, you also agree to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA).
1. Eligibility
Closerly is intended only for users 18 years or older. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
2. Account & Access
To use Closerly, you may sign in using Google Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities under your account.
You agree not to share your login credentials with others.
3. App Usage
Closerly provides:
- Private real-time rooms for couples
- Interactive games (quizzes, dares, truth-or-dare, etc.)
- Multiple game levels from light to intense
- Real-time synchronized gameplay
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in a respectful manner.
4. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the App for harassment, abuse, or harm
- Share illegal, violent, or hateful content
- Use the App to exploit minors
- Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or disrupt the App
- Impersonate another person
We reserve the right to suspend or remove access if misuse is detected.
5. Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand how we collect and use data.
6. Subscriptions & Payments
Closerly offers auto-renewing subscription options ("Premium Access") to unlock full features.
Subscription Terms:
- Payment: Payment will be charged to your iTunes Account (iOS) or Google Play Account (Android) at confirmation of purchase.
- Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period.
- Renewal Charges: Your account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period at the cost of the chosen package.
- Management: You can manage your subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal by going to your Account Settings after purchase.
- Cancellations: No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during the active subscription period.
- Free Trials: Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription to that publication.
7. Zero Tolerance & User Content
Closerly creates a private space for couples. However, strict rules apply to all content generated:
- No Objectionable Content: We have a ZERO TOLERANCE policy for objectionable content. You may not submit, share, or publish content that is defamatory, discriminatory, hateful, violent, pornographic, or illegal.
- Monitoring & Removal: While rooms are private, reports of abuse will be investigated. Any user found violating these policies will be immediately banned and their content removed.
- Reporting Mechanisms: Users can flag objectionable content or abusive behavior by contacting support or using in-app reporting features where available. We will act on reports within 24 hours.
8. Real-Time Rooms
Room codes are private. You are responsible for sharing room codes only with your intended partner.
We are not responsible for misuse of room codes.
9. Intellectual Property
All content, design, branding, and game material in Closerly are owned by Riek Apps. You may not copy, distribute, or resell any part of the App.
10. Service Availability
We aim to keep the App available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may update, suspend, or discontinue features without notice.
11. Limitation of Liability
Closerly is provided “as is”. We are not liable for:
- Relationship outcomes
- Emotional distress
- Loss of data due to technical issues
- Misuse of the App by other users
Use the App at your own discretion.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms.
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.
13. Apple EULA Agreement
By downloading the Closerly App from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). In the event of any conflict between these Terms and the EULA, the terms of the EULA will prevail for iOS users.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the App means you accept updated Terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable local laws based on your country of residence.
